Due to the location of Inner City Cycles, we have a lot of customers who want a bike for commuting, a bit of exercise around the local streets, or simply as a more practical from of transport.  If there is no mention of "going off road" then a Hybrid or flat bar roadie may be the ticket.  First, "off road" doesn't mean crossing the local park, or down an unsealed path; the line we draw as "off road" would be a fire trail such as the "Oaks" in the Blue Mountain.  If this is on your agenda, then these styles of bikes are NOT for you !

Our feature hybrid is the Giant Cypress.  The focus of this style of bike is comfort, comfort, comfort!  A Nice cushy comfort saddle on board, suspension seatpost and some suspension in the front fork to soften those roads and paths.  An adjustable delivers an upright raiding position.  The 2008 model is $495.

Feature bike Avanti Blade Sport
Our feature flat Bar road bike, is the Avanti Blade Sport.  Slightly narrower tyres than the Hybrid, less suspension (with a rigid front fork), higher gearing range - all in all a bit more "get you there"! This bike in the 2007 line up is $749
